Just thought that I'd share a funny story with you.

We got back on Friday night from the Vets with Clunie. Allan walks into the house to be greated by the other 2 dogs - Cally and Fingal. He comes out and says to me 'wait till you see what the hooligans have done!'

I went inside and although Al had tidied it up, the stairs,the hall and landing still looked like a white billowing mess of toilet roll (maybe they had seen a similar sight at a football match on TV and tried to copy it!!). The dogs had somehow managed to break into the bathroom and to their delight had discoverd an almost full packet of 16 toliet rolls and decided to redeorate for us!(so much so for the get 33% exta free offer). Most were salvageable, but just didn't need it at 7:30 in the evening!
At least I can laugh about it now:laugh:

Twist has been helping himself to the laundry pile today and walking around the house with various articles of clothing hanging from his mouth......wouldnt mind if it was the dirty washing!
Everywhere I went he had to drop something more at my feet for some reason then giving me the look that I am sure you all know well......you know, the "If I look all pathetic at you then you wont be cross with me will you?"

I have had a bad back for a couple of weeks so maybe he thinks he is 'helping' with the daily chores

Clunie ours have a passion for toilet rolls too Mostly it is the empty ones which they have been given to play with since puppies and consider a great prize, but one day over Christmas they too escalated things and I came home to find the garden covered in snow (since we live in Australia this is not really very likely but that is what it looked like).

Two very happy/guilty faces met me but it was hard to be cross when they had obviously had such fun. Dave and Hannah had been renovating the bathroom in our studio and had absent mindedly placed the basket of toilet rolls outside and the rest as they say was history Think the dogs thought it was an early Christmas present.

I bet they had so much fun. Photo would have been good

Mine's rather partial to a toilet roll as well. He's never had a whole packet of them but if he sees one that's within his reach (most places) then he'll Niftily pick it up and run of somewhere to shred it into small pieces.

I also agree with Alan about that beanbag, Deerhounds seem to have a primal urge to tear them apart, next thing you'll be running around with a vacuum cleaner trying to clean up all the beans.

I understand that you all are waiting on the big bean bag crasch in my home, but it never going to happend Norbert is very careful with his loving beanbag.
(and if/when he had destroy it, I wouldn't tell you:P )

Murray and Carys's favorite thing to destry ATM are polypockets - you know those horrid plastic pockets with punched holes in them. As i do a fair bit of work at home there are usually some on the table and they (along with Ronnie my parrot) have discovered the joys of ripping them to bits:angry: I have just fished a load of bits from under my bed

Beautiful children. Not sure about that bean bag, you wait, one day, just one day, when you have left him a bit longer than usual, I can see it happening

It would have been destroyed in my house long ago!!

I never leave him alone at home in the room were we have the beanbag. And he is not often alone inside the house. He use to go to bed when I left him and the room with the beanbag is closed just in case. I can imagine what our house wold look like if he destroy the beanbag, it is huge and it's gona be a big big snowstorm.

So I hope you wait for the beanbag explosion in vain.
