Hello all deerhound friends,

after 10 years I am going to the Crufts on Thursday and I would like to know, if anyone of you is going there too. I am looking forward to meeting you there.

Hi Eva, How lovely for you. I will be there - look forward to meeting you. There will be lots of people from here at Crufts - maybe we should have a Meeting Place ? I'll leave it to others to suggest where .Jenny.

Why don't you all wear a button hole of some sort!

Sorry, won't be there this year but will be thinking of you all and wishing everyone the best of luck and the best time!

Incidentally, does anyone know if it is televised? I think Crufts are streaming online, but does anyone know if any of the Sky chanels are putting it out, my terrier loves to watch!

I will be there - but just for the day out, dont have a deerhound as of yet,

no lurch its not being televised, with all the contraversy over whats gone on with the KC and
bbc, no one will touch the contract, but i do know they are streeming it live online from start to finish, you could always get the computer to tv leads and hook it up so it streems on to your tv lol.

We'll be there with Fergal. I believe there are bits of Crufts being shown on the Horse & Hound channel (some obscure cable channel that nobody in the whole world has got!).

I will be at Crufts for the first time ever Just hope Elsie Grey behaves!! (& I don't fall over in the ring )

Maybe we could all wear a sticky note with our Deerhound site names on.... we should recognise the names even if we don't know each other yet

Also is any one going to be benched with a surname beginning with T ?? It would be nice for me to know who I may be next too My friend Chris will be benched further away from me and I am a bit nervous Elsie Grey does not really like being benched yet & I have trouble keeping her in it I am hoping there will be room for her on the floor!

Look forward to seeing you all there

Kerri, you'll be right beside me and Sue, I should think. Sue's dogs are benched with mine, since I usually handle them.

Thank you Great news I will apologise in advance as Elsie Grey will probably be restless & I might end up being benched instead of her Look forward to seeing you Sid

Oh Daisy May I am an 'S' I would have been beched near you, but I'm not going this year! If you take a longer chain Elsie Grey will be able to sleep on the floor, much more comfortable than those silly small benches, I had the bench last year!

Oh, such a shame that you will not be at Crufts. Will try the longer chain idea, thanks

I should be in the W's but because I entered online and I put my daughter Lisa as a handler as I had Merlot whippet entered as well (cannot do two rings at the same time) she has been put as the owner so I might be in the D's!

Dear friends,

thank you for all your answers! We start to drive today in the evening . My friend will show there Draggi´s son.

The best idea is to have visit card with our "scottish deerhound community name" on the dress - I prepare it for myself. I hope to discuss with you, but my English is really weak!!

Looking forward to the meeting

Greetings from Eva

Owned I think, by our next door neighbour. Not a big money spinner it would seem!
