I like the new look too But have to say I prefer the 'new' to be in Red rather than 'green'... I am squinting to see it.... maybe I should have gone to spec savers

Did you use the 'threaded view' before? If so that explains why you find this way difficult at first.
Unfortunately the threaded view had some serious problems and it has been temporarily disabled - I didn't know that anyone was using it - very sorry for the inconvienince.

So now if you reply to someone from further up the thread you can either 'quote' them (there is a quote button) or you can say @keijke or @teratyke or @Vikingxc (as I did above)- directing the comment at the person you are addressing.

Sorry if this seems a bit complicated. If you are not sure you can always PM me (click PM under my name - another new feature!)

Maybe I'm a bit slow but how do you send a PM? I tried clicking on someones profile but I couldn't see a send message link.

The easy way is to click the little PM square in between online and profile on the right here...-->
You can also get to it from the front page and also at the top of the forum in the right hand corner.
You have to be logged in to see it though..

Great look to the site well done. I would like to request a spell check for the site. Spelling has never been my stron point. Or is there one and I do not know where to find it.

That would be good and I will add it to the list.

There are two ways that I spell check my posts at the moment though.

For long messages I type it into word, then copy and paste.

Do you use Internet Explorer 7? If so there is an excellent spell check (US English) that checks your spelling as you type and underlines an erros (i did that on purpose honest) in red. You can then right click them and choose from a list of suggestions.

Its a free tool called IE7Pro and you can find it here.... www.ie7pro.com/
I just use the free version, but it does loads of useful things and up to now it hasn't done anything nasty to my computer, no spyware or malware etc. It doesn't pop up any Ads either which I hate.

The other one that a lot of people use - I don't personally is the google toolbar

I believe this does spell check too.

The great thing about these is that they work on any website.

Until we get a spell check here you could try one of those?
