Anyone planning on watching the Meteor shower tonight ?
It's happening right now, shame we have to wait until its dark.

Forecasters reckon the clouds might disappear for a few hours around here for 10pm , so fingers crossed.

Got the day off tomorrow so I can have a lie in !

Lucky you, Steve, having the day off tomorrow. I did go out last night for a look, as I do most years, but it was overcast up here.

I've got the day off tomorrow so I'll be out there looking. Unfortunately, looking at the sky now it's hard to believe that it may clear later.

Have been out and had a look and can't see a thing, too cloudy here. Is it supposed to be all night, cos I might take a look later when I am woken up by Alan's snoring.

I saw one a few minutes ago in clear starry East Lothian. Not a meteor shower, more like a drop...

We couldn't see a damn thing either. I blame it squarely on the Glasgow light pollution.

We looked at the clouds all day/night so no shooting stars for us this year. A few years ago in France we had a B&B with a really keen amateur astronomist - we all lay for a couple of hours from 11pm-1am on sun loungers watching the amazing show. Such a shame to miss this big one. Sometimes there is a residue following night so will try again!

We had clear sky so saw lots of shooting stars made lots of (win the lottery get more hounds)wishes, roll on saturday night lol

We had clear skies last night for while, but I decided to kill birds with one stone and go hunting and star gazing at the same time.

Bagged 2 bunnies and 4 Meteors in a couple of hours !
