Hung parliament, not heard of since 1974...what do people think of the state of affairs?
What was the result of the coalition government back then and did it work?

In 1974 it was a minority government and Harold wilson was for ever struggling to win the votes. MP's in hospital were being wheeled in on stretchers to vote and labour often won the votes by the skin of their teeth. Today it's a full coalition government with a large majority and so long as the libs/tories don't fall out it should work well. It will also stop the tories from implementing some of their more controversial policies.

I've asked Deerhound Ben what he thinks and can only get a whoof as a response, I don't think he cares somlong as he still gets his grub and walks. I doubt that this government will be reversing the hunting ban but he's stillgot the rabbits and squirrels to chase.

All we can do is wait & see I suppose, you never know it could be a good thing??

All I can really say is if we had a Deerhound Person as Prime Minister....it would probably be fantastic.....couldn't find one to vote for though I think Hairy should stand next time....that would get the government all going

Well, we were very put out last night as the announcement that GB was resigning as PM meant that we missed both Eastenders and Holby city Not good - not good at all

Yes I was a concerned at GB resigning when Eastenders was due to come on....not very good planning I would say! Then it said it was on at 10 on BBC3, so I stayed up to watch it and then it wasn't on there either!
