TOPIC: Garden Flowers

Garden Flowers 1 year, 10 months ago #25905

Here are a few photos of flowers taken in my garden this afternoon. None are excellent examples of photography, just some blooms to enjoy.

Hello Jeorg
Glad you enjoyed the pictures. I must confess I like to take a bunch of them every summer, and then in winter, when it's cold and dreary, I set the pictures to slide show and run them on my computer to brighten the day.

Meh. They can't get through the gates unless I let them in!

Flowers? I seem to remember that we once had them in our garden until the arrival of our new lurcher - Jura. he seems to enjoy eating them or killing them - only a few hardy things have survived as him and Tulla have made a race track around the trees and big shrubs oh well I suppose that there is next year!!

I love your flowers though Shelley - I'm just jealous!

I think destroying flowers must be a lurcher thing. When I first got my lurcher, Boozer (RIP, bless him) as a 5 month old he took great pleasure in systematically de-heading all the tulips and placing the flowers in a huge heap in the middle of the garden. What with that and trying to dig his way to Australia, my garden looked a pretty picture!!

I realy like this one.

Our garden looks like a mess at the moment,
lots of weeds, weve never been able to have flowers, except in pots
as the dogs just distroy them, mind you they distroyed the whole garden,
before the weeds it was just dust lol

I thought of this thread this morning when the dogs and I stepped outside into the cold Time for a reminder of what awaits us in a few short months. Next summer I wish some of you brilliant picture-takers would do this for us!!! But for now my horrid efforts must suffice.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
