my favourite so far (haven't been to many) is Bournemouth because of the area and the herd of deer next to the showground. We always stay a few days when we go.

What's yours and why?

Windsor as it is by the river and in the view of the castle, and the way all the staff are dressed. It is a bonus as it is also near for me. Only a hour and a half.

Kelso for me too, lovely drive up,easy parking and fish&chips on the way home in Jedburgh. My least favourite has to be the NEC,mainly because of the £8 parking charge, but also the trek from the carparks to the halls.

I hate the NEC too Lynne, so bliming confusing too...and huge! and the car park charges are disgusting, the walk is awful when you have dogs and bags to carry. Bournemouth is lovely, but I like Hampshire in general. Windsor is lovely too and even nearer for me Chris, half an hour!!! Not too keen on Peterborough, I just don;t like the drive up the A1. Oh, Royal Victoria Country Park in Southampton because it is right next to the sea, so you can walk along the tiny beach after!

Yes, I too like Kelso the best. Leeds is also a nice venue. However, don't overlook Stafford as the outdoor rings are OK and more importantly the venue shop sells excellent ice cream and the cafe opposite has a very good cake line. You can now see how the Cusidh show calendar is organised after checking that there's no work commitments on the next criteria is whether there's a good cafe at the venue or nearby! So after Kelso our next show is now Stafford!

My favourites are Border Union, it is such a lovely showground and Welsh Kennel Club at
Royal Welsh showground, Builth Wells. WKC is a lovely drive though stunning countryside
and the show ground nestles in the welsh hills. Glorious (on a sunny day!).

Oh, and I forgot to add, I hate the NEC (LKA and Crufts). It is our nearest show venue
being only 1/2 hour from home but it is always a struggle to get from the car park to
the halls holding 2 or three dogs and all their associated luggage. I also hate the halls.
I don't know whether it is the lighting or all the noise (especially the terriers barking)
but within an hour of being there I always get a headache and feel unwell.
