Just a small tip! Recently I attended a show which involved access to a rather muddy field. I was kindly offered a tow onto the site by the organisers using their tractor. 'Where is your towing point?' I was asked. Now it's not my van it belongs to my husband and I didn't have a clue where the tow point was (apparently you have to take the attachment out from underneath the bonnet and screw it into the front of the vehicle,now I know). As a result of my lack of knowledge two nice men finished up covered in mud, sorry gentlemen it won't happen again. The moral of this little story is - KNOW YOUR VEHICLE!

Off again tomorrow, already been told the field is getting rather slippy, and this will be the third day for the show.

I must ask how to open bonette to get attachment as we could need it!!

on the upside I have managed to get the little darlings rain macks to help keep them dry.

You will probably be better getting it out before you set off,
then you can just put it on with no problem,
mines kept in the seat pocket, so i know were it is.

Ha! I'd love to come to your UK shows as they sound so entertaining! Laughed in the hound show thread where elise posted a pic of wallace's dogs thoroughly drenched from the rain and looking as though they thought all humans were bonkers for staying out in the elements And now we have the delightful mental picture of gentlemen towing cars to the show site with a tractor! Don't know anything about these "tow points" as in N.America we click our chevy avalanches in 4x4 and plow through anything! How did you do in the shows?

What a good idea. We have just loaded the van ready for tomorrow. attachment near to hand.

It helps to have a sense of humour or I think we would cry. The summers are getting to be liquid ones.
