Breed Show 2010 2 years ago #18868

I thought that I should book David and myself into the Thistle Hotel for the show.
I was under the impression that it was £145 per person with dog sharing for the three nights. I was told that this is per night, and for the both of us would be nearly £900 which is way to expensive. Dose anyone know if this correct.

I guess we will just go for the day if that is the case

No, it's not right. Go to the Deerhound Club site and get the code for the special price and try again.

I have given the Deerhound club reference(DEER 170410) and they are still saying per person per night.David has just phoned to make another enquiry and he too was told that the price is per person per night. However when that quote was queried she said she would double check and get back to me tomorrow.

Weird. We wouldn't have booked that hotel at that price; you'd think they could tell their staff about special offers!

I don't know anyone who has booked that would know. I read it as being cheaper. We'll be in the Caravan anyway. Any one want to camp in the awning we'll only charge you a tenner.

Has the schedule come out yet?

Re:Breed Show 2010 1 year, 11 months ago #21378

Are there any stalls at the Breed Show?

Re:Breed Show 2010 1 year, 11 months ago #21401

There was last year so I am sure it'll be the same again this year. Lots of goodies on offer from the DH club as well as other stall owners selling leads, collars, sculptures, prints etc.

Thanks for that. I'm hoping to come next year so need to know how big a case to bring

We are going, it's our first time at Breed Show Not sure if we are staying over yet, or just going for the saturday.
I managed to fill the form out wrong so if we are there on sunday....I have been put in for Adult Handling.... with Elsie Grey Now that should be funny .....if Elsie Grey sees a pork pie she'll be off...... so probably won't be in the ring for long!!! ( I keep telling myself...a pork pie search is better than her trying to 'bonk' me in the ring!) So paws crossed it might not be so bad

Have you put your pictures up on the previous post. It was some time ago, but might be worth a look back. Putting a name to a Face.

Have a great time everyone, wish I was going, but hey ho, never mind. Have fun and most of all, enjoy it. No one have a pork pie in their lunch or you might end up with Elsie Grey on your lap!
