To-day was our Deerhound Club of Victoria Open Show.
Chas ( Gentiehun Prince Charlie ) got Best-in-Show.
Sheila's sister Tess ( Jacobite Rosyn ) got Junior-in-Show and Reserve Bitch.
Very pleasing !!

I'm new to this site and don't know how things work, but I'll give it a try.

I have tried to get some results from the club to no avail so far. I guess that with all the work that goes into putting a show together they will be a bit tired. However I saw in the magazine that at the show presentations were given for

Deerhound of the Year Ch Mapleridge Gorjus George.
Runner -Up Ch Mapleridge Indigo of Cra.
Also awarded was The Special Points winner, which is an Australia wide competition, which went to Gr Ch Bhealaich Gotta Luv Me.

Congrats on the win Dave. Open shows are really important for training the trainee judges, I know where I live trainees don't get to see any Deerhounds which is a pity.

I was very honoured at the weekend to have a cup of tea with the fabulous Sheila on my knee, well half of her.

She is lovely and really cuddly. I was at Rumbling Bridge for the first time for the lure coursing and had a great time.
