Here is the moment my everso considerate jess decided to empty herself in the ring.I was totally mortified and wished the ground had opened up and swallowed us!
Sorry it was right in front of you Florent!!

Sorry, but it did make me smile! That's one of the worst case scenerio's I've imagined would happen to me and you were so calm about it - Well Done Performance pressure! It's actually given me some confidence knowing that these things do happen and you have to just laugh and move on - must admit, if I ever got to the dizzy heights taking Storm in the ring at Crufts; poo-bags would have been the last thing on my mind! Note to self: Poo-bags, poo-bags, poo-bags!

O if only that were true!! I was anything but calm and collected!! I came out of the ring with a face redder than my jacket, teary eyes and snotty nose:silly: Your're right about just having to laugh about it,I would have done so easily had it happened to anyone else!! definately a lesson learned tho!POO BAGS!!!

Well done anyhow, yes least it was a hard jobbie and not a mushy one, OMG can you imagine trying to scrape it up?

And Florent, you look like you are laughing at our poor Lynne, shame on you, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

They always manage to embarrass you at the most crucial moments. At least the BBC was not there to broadcast the event to the nation:laugh:. I thought the steward was a bit slow coming to your assistance.

You are in good company ! There are a lot of dogs who have done just what Jess did. Just think in terms of how you would have felt it was someone elses dog - I daresay it wouldn't have bothered you that much. It didn't bother those of us that were in the ring with you, so don't worry too much. The steward however, I nearly ran over him - he was a bit slow !

Poor you Elvee, but I have to agree that the stewart was really slow of the mark and lets face it - it's bound to happen loads of times! But well done all the same - keep smiling:)

You poor thing. I was embarrassed for you watching it. One bit to pick up would be bad enough but you seemed to be picking up multiple pieces. I am sure everyone had sympathy for you.

You'll laugh about it one day (by the way I am laughing about it today! Sorry!)

Hi Elvee

Thought you did really well. Could (and does) happen to everyone. Sorry not to have caught up with you. I didn't manage to speak to that many people and missed Irator too. Our bench (surname starting with C's) only had a dog loo and wall in front of it so I didn't see many people. Banrigh also decided she just wanted to sleep after her class so I didn't feel I could really move around with her and her sister too much in the afternoon.

Wouldn't you think that instead of splitting up the deerhound benching into 2 areas, they would have put the yappy Finnish Spitz over by the wall instead?

I watched the youtube vid of you,I think if I tried that with mine,I'd be dragged face down at 70 mph!!!

gud on yer!!!

Oh, I couldn't agree more about the Spinach Fitz! I'd shoot the lot of them - nasty aggressive yappy little horrors that they are. The owners don't seem to notice, either - at least I never saw anyone try to shut the little darlings up.

It doesn't matter. The judge's assistant was very kind and helpful, he did well & fast.
It was a very bad place, generally i choice the corner opposite to the judge's desk.
The best to see the dogs, but i would like to protect my left shoulder so i choice this place.
Terrifying, appalling, nauseating place...
Not because Jess,...hem..., it's embarrassing to tell why...
The stress, the stage fright, seems to give some flatulences to a certain number of competitors, (not only dogs...), i were very anxious each time a class was over 7 hounds.

... and then there was this stupid German person who tipped on your broken shoulder...
I am so sorry about that, you had better knocked me off immediately in reaction!!

Did you have a good journey home?

Sorry Ulch, Paul, the "Giant Pict", is not German but very British, and above all, absolutely not stupid , he didn't know about my dislocated shoulder, that's all...
You're very careless, do you know what Picts do to their enemy...
No hard feelings !
