Just posted a video of the Lure Coursing at the Rose's place in Rumbling bridge - after the breedshow. Sorry if I didn't name or got the name wrong of your dog - it all got a bit confusing in the editing..

Nice one, Rob. I'm so glad you caught the bit where Tavish was knocked flying by his daughter Madam because it demonstrates so well why Deerhounds don't need to be huge to knock a deer (or in this case a dad) off balance; they just need to hit it in the right place.

I'm sure that Torrin on the forum here will tell you about a similar happening when Clunie, Fynn our Lurcher, Cally our Rotti cross and Cullen all met up in a large field.

Cullen is 34"at the shoulder whilst Clunie is 29", yet she managed to bring him down as Cullen was daring to chase Fynn! We'd a great couple of meetings in Blair, just watching the dogs run and noting how our madam who was only just the youngest thought that she was the boss. It was just lovely watching the derhounds play, chase and run and noticing how differently Fynn(deerhound/greyhound)ran to them. Poor Cally tried to join in but ended up just watching the speed merchants.

Thanks Rob. Not having any Lure coursing in Tasie, it is great to watch the guys do their thing.

That was really great! I can't wait for our Murph to have a shot when he's a bit older. Not long to go - he's just turning 8 months now.

Great video, unfortunately we don't have much lure coursing in Australia, but ti's great fun to watch.

Just came across this thread. We had a great time with the dogs that day, they ran themselves ragged!

Here is a pic of Culen & Clunie looking bonny.
