Thank you Ricky Bentley for this fantastic photo of Banrigh (Claire/Elise Cartmell's Cusidh Bitch).
It looks like participants at Sue and Kevin Rose's lure coursing event on the 2nd of November had a fantastic day.
Sue has another event organised for Sunday 30th November 2008 (Kinross, Scotland). As always please contact Sue directly using the directory or I can pass on your messages submitted through the contact us form. Any dogs are welcome and the event is just for fun, just let Sue know how many dogs will be attending.
The first race is at 11.00 am and tea will be available before hand.

I thought it would be nice to have a nice Christmas scene on the front page. The next Scottish-Deerhound.Com Photo Competition begins...
We will be closing this in early December all being well.
As always a front page spot will (possibly) catapult the winner into a life of fame and fortune!
Anything decent and deerhound related goes. You don't have to have snow to win.

Congratulations to Lonnkyle Enya of Tannochbrae JC, the ultimate sleepy deerhound!
Well, I'm just thrilled to be a finalist!!! That photo of Enya was a once-in-a-lifetime situation of having a camera close to hand at the right time (for a change!) -- I'm so glad others have enjoyed it.

Sue Rose's Lure Coursing events will be held on the following dates
- 21st September 2008 Sunday
- 12th October 2008 Sunday Cancelled
- 2nd November 2008 Sunday Update: Video Here
- 30th November 2008 Sunday
Update: First Race at 11 o'clock, however you are welcome to turn up from 8.30 for tea and coffee.
Update: Sue and Kevin are trying to install something to secure dogs whilst you have a cuppa or deal with other dogs.
Update : Please confirm with Sue if you are intending to attend and with how many dogs.
Start time for all dates is 10.00 am. Hounds will be running regardless of the weather. Venue is Braehead, Rumbling Bridge, Kinross (click for map). Sue needs to confirm in advance how many dogs are coming so please use the contact us form to let us know how many dogs you’ll be bringing and to which event. This information will be forwarded to Sue Rose or, contact Sue directly using the directory. |
