Here's a great opportunity to get a picture of your Scottish Deerhound amongst the glossy pages of The Best Scottish Weddings.
Alex Aikman Smith of Lloyd Smith Photography is looking for ideally two Deerhounds for a few shots in the Edinburgh area on Wednesday the 14th October. The location isn't fixed yet, but it looks likely to be in the Melrose/Borders area.
The fashion is based on a Victorian theme and we thought the dogs would not only look wonderful, but give it a sense of the period.
I'm afraid that’s all the details I have at the moment so please contact me for a mobile number or

Update: Sue and Kevin are extending the 2009 lure coursing season by popular demand and holding another event on October 18th. Racing starts at 11am as usual although you can arrive any time after 8.30am.
Sue would also like your views as to whether a Christmas lure coursing event would be welcome and, if so, what date would suit most people?

Great photos. We did enjoy our fun afternoon after the Breed Show--a beautifully kept field with wonderful views--all that and happy Deerhounds too! Thank you.
